# Switching from Calendly to Zitli

You don't have to start from scratch. Zitli can bring over your event types and working hours from Calendly. Your existing appointments stay where they are: in your calendar. Allow an afternoon for setup and about two weeks of running both in parallel.

## What is imported

- **Event types** with name, link, duration, description, colour, location and booking questions
- **Working hours**, including exceptions on specific dates and separate hours for individual event types

## What is not imported

- **Appointments that are already booked:** they stay in your Google, Outlook or Apple calendar. Once you connect that calendar in Zitli, they block their time.
- **Buffers, minimum notice, booking window, limits, reminders and payments:** Calendly does not pass these on. You set them up once in Zitli.
- **Team event types** (group, round-robin, collective), as well as one-off meetings and polls, are not supported yet.
- Paid event types are imported without a price. You then set up payment in Zitli.

## Automatic import

1. In Zitli, open **Settings › Switch from Calendly**.
2. Click **Connect Calendly**. Calendly asks on its own page whether Zitli may read your event types and availability. Zitli never sees your Calendly password.
3. Zitli shows what it found. Choose what you want to bring over, read the notes on the individual entries and click **Import selection**.

Zitli only reads and changes nothing in Calendly. Access ends as soon as the import is finished, after 30 minutes at the latest. You can repeat the import as often as you like: nothing is created twice. There is a limit per run; anything beyond it follows with the next import.

**On the Free plan**, everything you selected is imported, but only one event type can be booked until you upgrade to Pro.

## Switching discount

If you complete the automatic import, you get **50% off Pro for the first 3 months** (with the annual plan, CHF 24 off the first invoice). The offer is valid for **30 days from the first import** and only for accounts that have never had a Zitli subscription. You can see it in the app and under **Settings › Billing**.

## Afterwards

1. Connect your calendar under **Settings › Calendars**
2. Choose your canton under **Settings › Holidays**
3. Set up buffers, notice period and reminders in your event types
4. Replace the Calendly link on your website, in your email signature and in your Google Business Profile with your Zitli link
5. Make a test booking for each language
6. Keep Calendly running for about two weeks until no new bookings come in there, then cancel it
