# Create and set up your account

A Zitli account is ready in a few minutes. You don't need a credit card.

## 1. Sign up

Go to [app.zitli.ch/signup](https://app.zitli.ch/signup) and sign up with your email address or your Google account.

Every new account starts with **14 days of Pro for free**. After that, your account automatically switches to the free plan, Free, unless you choose Pro. Nothing is deleted.

## 2. Setup in three steps

After you sign up, Zitli guides you through the setup:

1. **Profile:** name, username (it becomes part of your booking link) and time zone.
2. **Connect your calendar:** connect Google, Outlook or Apple. Zitli then checks whether you are free before offering any time, and adds new bookings to your calendar. If you connect Google, Google Meet automatically becomes your default for video meetings. You can also do this step later under **Settings › Calendars**.
3. **Where do you work?** Choose your canton. Zitli then blocks its public holidays. Zitli also sets Monday as the first day of the week, the 24-hour clock and, if your device is already set to it, Swiss time. You can skip this step with «Add later».

## 3. Your first event types

To get you started, Zitli creates sample event types. Adjust them under **Event types** or create your own (see the article «Create and customise event types»).

## 4. Share your link

Copy your link with **«Copy public page link»** at the bottom left of the app and share it by email, on your website or in your signature.

## Changing the language

You can change the language of the app under **Settings › General**. Your clients see the booking page in the language of their browser (German, French, Italian or English).

## Signing in with Google from Facebook or Instagram

Signing in with Google does not work inside the Facebook or Instagram app. Open app.zitli.ch in your regular browser, or sign up with your email address.
