# Connect your calendar (Google, Outlook, Apple, CalDAV)

When you connect your calendar, Zitli checks whether you are free before offering any time, and adds new bookings automatically. This way you are never double-booked.

## Supported calendars

- Google Calendar
- Outlook / Microsoft 365 (including personal Outlook and Hotmail accounts)
- Apple Calendar (iCloud)
- Other calendars via CalDAV

## Connecting a calendar

1. Open **Settings › Calendars**.
2. Click **Add calendar** and choose your provider.
3. Sign in with the provider and allow access.
4. Choose which calendars are checked for conflicts and which calendar new bookings are added to.

**Apple Calendar:** for iCloud, you need an app-specific password. You create it at [account.apple.com](https://account.apple.com) › Sign-In and Security › App-Specific Passwords (two-factor authentication must be turned on for your Apple ID).

## What Zitli does with your calendar

- Reads when you are busy (the contents of your appointments are not shown on the booking page)
- Adds bookings and updates or removes them when they are rescheduled or cancelled
- For Google: Zitli uses Google data only for scheduling, never for advertising and never to train AI models

## Multiple calendars

You can connect several calendars, e.g. a personal Google calendar and a business Outlook calendar. Zitli checks all selected calendars for conflicts.

## Disconnecting a calendar

Under **Settings › Calendars**, click the menu next to the calendar and remove it. Zitli deletes the stored credentials. Appointments that have already been added stay in your calendar. For Google, you can also revoke access at [myaccount.google.com/permissions](https://myaccount.google.com/permissions).
