# Accept payments at booking (Pro)

With Pro, your clients can pay when they book, for example for a consultation, a deposit or a paid session. Payment runs through your own Stripe account; the money goes directly to you.

## Setting it up

1. Open **Apps** (App Store) and install **Stripe**.
2. Connect your Stripe account or create one.
3. Open **Event types** and the event type you want to charge for.
4. Under **Apps**, turn on Stripe, set the price and currency (e.g. CHF) and save.

Payment is optional: turn it on only for the event types that are paid.

## Good to know

- Stripe charges its own fees per payment, according to your Stripe agreement.
- On the Free plan, paid event types cannot be booked online. Clients then see a notice that the appointment cannot be booked online at the moment.
- You issue refunds to your clients in your Stripe account.
